Tainwala Chemicals and Plastics (India) Limited announced several board appointments and re-appointments on August 8, 2024, pending shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. Mr. Ramesh Tainwala was re-appointed as Chairman & Managing Director for a five-year term effective August 9, 2027, and will not be subject to rotation. Also re-appointed for five-year terms, effective August 8, 2027, and also not subject to rotation, are Independent Directors Mr. Devendra Saligram Anand and Mr. Uday Ramniklal Mehta. The company further appointed M/s. SDBA & Co., Chartered Accountants, as its new auditor. Mr. Tainwala brings over 40 years of experience in the chemical and plastics industry, previously serving as Global CEO of Samsonite, while Mr. Anand and Mr. Mehta offer extensive backgrounds in manufacturing and corporate governance, respectively.
